Too much praise cannot be given the mem-bers of the association for the go-ahead anlget-together manner in which they carriedthrough the work attendant upon such anundertaking and in so short a time. Threehundred and twenty coops were made bythe members themselves, and it was foundnecessary to loan over a hundred more toaccomodate the more than 500 birds en-tered. As an appreciation of his leadership andwork in behalf of the association it presentedat its meeting last Monday evening ten dollarsto B. M. Posten. The association has can-celled all bills and has nearly $40 in thetreasury. Following is the list of special prize andribbon winners: B. Monroe Posten won the Jacob Sutlifffountain pen. H. Springer won the Milton Springer set-ting eggs. F. B. Gordner won the Hughesville Mail en-velopes and note heads. B. F. Kahler won the Item silver cup. H. G. Grannis won the B. F. Kahler set-ting S.
