Adapted to Far Southern Growing Conditions. Berries are large, a bright crimson col- or, not as dark as Fairfax but very fine quality. It ripens crop quickly and while so far in trial plantings it has produced about with Blakemore and Missionary it is not considered a heavy producing variety. We don't feel Daybreak is adapted to Northern berry pro- ducing areas. Daybreak as its name indicates is a- mong the first berries to ripen, being about one week earlier than Blakemore. This fact alone recommends the variety for trial. Northstar Bountiful Ridge Grown Yellows Free strain Blakemore Plants such as these must give results. Other so-called yellow free types showed many yellow plants this year in this section. We urge all Blake- more growers to plant only the Strain.
