A most useful and attractive variety that should soon become a favorite for bedding, possessing the great advantage over other tuberous-rooted Begonias of delighting in full sunshine. It is of dwarf habit, growing from 6 to 8 inches high, throwing up well above the foliage numberless stems bearing full, double dazzling-scarlet flovi'ers, giving the whole plant a brightness, grace and elegance difficult to describe. A bed containing about 500 plants of this variety, for gorgeous effect, eclipsed anything we ever saw. Strong bulbs 50 cts. each, ^b 00 per doz. DIANTHUS NAPOEEOIV III. A pretty summer-flowering Pink with rich, deep crimson flowers, deliciously clove-scented, which are produced continu- ously all summer on strong branching stems 10 to 12 inches high, there frequently being a dozen open flowers at one time on a single stem. It is not a new variety, having been introduced in France some ten years ago. We have made many attempts to import and only succeeded in getting over alive last spring. 15 cts. each, $1,50 per doz.
