Back pain treatment. Coloured frontal X-ray of the lumbar vertebrae (top) and pelvis (bottom) of a 34-year-old patient with lower back pain (lumbago) localised around the L4-L5 vertebrae. Conventional treatment has not worked so corticosteroid has been injected into the site of the pain.
