When as deep as the condi-tions of the ground permit, the wrench is disconnected andwithdrawn, and the guy wire is attached. The rodless anchors are only made in 5-in. and 6-in. sizes are made with a permanent rod, and are installedas shown in Fig. 2. The rod is slipped through the hollowwrench, after which a metal or wooden wedge is driven firmlyinto the eye, as shown in the engraving. The wedge prevents.
