To this unionhave come four children—one son andthree daughters—to wit: (i) Arthur A.,born February 23, i860, married to Jen-nie Latimore, and they are now the par-ents of two children—Edward L., bornFebruary 8, 1888, and Mary Gertrude,born January 25, 1895. Mr. Kelly has always been engagedin agricultural pursuits, including dealingin live stock, and besides general farminghe has engageii extensively in the cultureof fruit, an industry for which the Penin-sula, on which his farm is located, hasbecome noted. He is energetic and pub-lic^pirited, and has held many positionsof local trust. Always identified witheducational interests of Port Clinton, heserved as a member of the Board of Edu-cation for over seventeen years, and forten years was its president. He was like-wise several times elected a member ofthe council, which incumbency he filledwith ability.
