Proboscis fully developed ; palpi uptiirnecl, the 2ncl joint reaching about to vertex of head and moderately scaled, the 3rd about twice as long as the 2nd ; frons smooth ; eyes large, round ; antennae of male ciliated ; thorax clothed with scales and hair mixed and without crests ; tibi£E slightly fringed with hair ; abdomen with dorsal crests on two basal segments only. Fore wing with the apex rectangular, the termen evenly curved and not crenulate; veins 3 and 5 from near angle of cell; 6 from below upper angle ; 7 from angle ; 8, 9, 10 stalked ; 11 from cell. Hind wing with veins 3, 4 from angle of cell; 5 fully developed from above angle; 6, 7 from upper angle; 8 anastomosing with tho cell near base only. A. Hind wing flesh-red. a. Fore wing with dentate white subterminal line pyrites. h. Fore wing with indistinct green subterminal line excurved below vein 7 and at middle prasina. B. Hind wing pale ochreous yellow. a.
