Mary Arden's House, Station Road, Wilmcote, Warwickshire, c1945-c1980. Artist: Eric de Maré.

Palmer's Farm, Station Road, Wilmcote, Warwickshire, c1945-c1980. This house was first referred to as Mary Arden's House in 1798. Mary Arden was Shakespeare's mother and the house dates from the early 16th century. However, it is now known that this is in fact Palmer's Farm, and the red brick cottage to the south-west is where Mary Arden lived. Both properties are under the care of The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust.
