An Urartian belt, 8th century A wide bronze belt surrounded with small attachment holes for the backing. Richly decorated with zigzag strips, displaying irregular point markings in the intervals. One end of the belt has a heavy bronze ring riveted to it. Length cm. Width cm. Dark green to black patina. Mounted on acrylic glass. The back has been partially stabilised with fiberglass.
