Cleaner and commuters on the moving walkways, Heathrow airport. In the 1950 the first Indians to arrive in Britain were Sikhs and there has been a tradition of employing Indians in Heathrow, mainly in service jobs. Terminal 3 was expanded with the addition of an arrivals building in 1970. Other new facilities included the UK's first moving walkways.
