I love electricity pylons; I find their abstract, gaunt shapes endlessly fascinating. Here we see a giant pylon in a field by the Thames at Kennington, south of Oxford, at sunrise. This specimen is unusual because you can walk right up to and underneath it, producing the images shown here.
