Staff Sgt. Joseph Perminas, an Antioch, Ill., native, takes a ride on a bike with a little help from children in the Istaqlal Qada, northeast of Baghdad, Aug. 1, 2008. Perminas serves as an infantry squad leader with Company B, 52nd Infantry Regiment attached to the 1st Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment “Wolfhounds,” 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team “Warrior,” 25th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division – Baghdad.
