Illustration drawn by Geremia Discanno and lithographed by Victor Steeger from Emile Presuhn's Choix des plus Belles et Interessantes Peintures de Pompei, Choice of the Most Beautiful and Interesting Paintings in Pompeii, Weigel, Leipzig, 1882. German archeologist Presuhn (1844-1881) lived in Italy for eight years and, with Mr. Discanno, made exact copies of many wall paintings that are now lost.
