PATERNO, Italy (Oct. 4, 2018) Boatswain’s Mate 2nd Khiry Allen assigned to the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Anchorage (LPD 23), paints a wall white while participating in a community relations project at Chiesa Spirito Santo church in Paterno, Italy, Oct. 4, 2018. Anchorage and embarked 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit are deployed to the 6th Fleet area of operations as a crisis response force in support of regional partners as well as to promote national security interests in Europe and Africa.
