Fimbrial cyst. Endoscope (laparascope) view of a patient's fallopian tube, showing a cyst on the fimbriae. There are two fallopian tubes, which are channels between the ovaries and the uterus. One of the tubes will receive the egg that is released from one of the two ovaries every month. The finger-like fimbriae 'waft' the egg into the entrance of the tube.
