Sailboat passing the Royal Danish Opera House in Copenhagen inner harbour, Denmark. Modern architecture by Henning Larsen. Donated by Møller.

Boat passing the Copenhagen Opera House on the waterfront in the port of Copenhagen seen through the fountain in Amaliehaven close to the Amalienborg Castle. The new Copenhagen Opera House (inaugurated January 2005) at the waterfront in the port of Copenhagen is the national opera of Denmark and one of the most modern opera houses in the world - and the most expensive ever built. It is located on the island of Holmen in the centre of Copenhagen just opposite the castle Amalienborg. The Opera House is designed by the Danish architect Henning Larsen and is a present from Mærsk McKinney Møller.
