WARDAK PROVINCE, AFGHANISTAN – Spc. Kedith Jacobs, an Atlanta native connects a SIPR-NIPR Access Point, more commonly known as a SNAP Terminal. The self-contained satellite system combines voice and data lines through a secure network at Combat Outpost Sultan Kheyl located in southern Wardak Province. Jacobs, a satellite technician by trade is assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 5th Infantry Regiment.
