Although not entered for competiton it received the unusual distinction of being awarded TWO GOLD MEDALS, one by the American Rose Society, the other by the Society of American Florists and Orna- mental Horticulturists. The judges of the American Rose Society in making their .award accompanied same with a special re- port as follows: 'In awarding the Gold Medal for the Exhibt of Roses by Henry A. Dreer, Inc., the Judges feel that a special word of commendation should accompany the award. Never before at any Flower Show in the United States has such a result been achieved. The patience and interest re- quired to accomplish this result is worthy of our sincerest appreciation.
