P-44 in Den. Meet P-43 and P-44, the two newest members of our mountain lion study! These 3-4 week-old females are from two separate litters on opposite ends of our study area, one in the Santa Monica Mountains and the other in the Santa Susanas. This image gives a sense of how well the mom hides her young!
