The German Federal Chancellery , opened in 2001, is a concrete and glass building in the post-modern style. At 12,000 square metres is the largest government headquarters in the world, being ten times the size of the White House. A central block, 40 m high, is flanked by 22 m high administrative buildings, the western flank being seen here.
