Here is the protest of the French maker and ananswer based upon experience with American tires. SEVERAL of our French contemporaries, includingOmnia and La Vie Automobile, have recentlyprinted articles in which they attempt to convincetheir readers that the straight side pneumatic tire asmanufactured in large numbers in this country, is farinferior to the clincher type of tire, the European stand-ard, and has practically no merits at all.
