A Nazi V1 rocket on its launching pad aimed at London in England during WW11 at the La Coupole underground concrete bunker complex near Saint-Omer in northern France. La Coupole underground concrete bunker complex is built into a hillside in Eperlecques forest. It was hidden from view from allied bombing but it did get a direct hit by the 617 Lancaster squadron ( Famous Dam busters) . The bunker is now a visitor’s History and Memory Centre, a world war II museum. The complex was built by using slave labour.
