Royal Navy Ships in Albert Dock Liverpool, UK 24th May, 2013. HMS Pursuer (P273), HMS Charger (P292) and "HMS Archer" all Archer-class patrol and training vessels of the British Royal Navy, based at the Faslane Patrol Boat Squadron (FPBS) at HMNB Clyde, at the 70th anniversary of the Battle of the Atlantic (BOA 70) commemoration and events centred around Liverpool. The Battle of the Atlantic was the longest continuous military campaign in World War 2, at its height from mid-1940 through to the end of 1943.
HMS Pursuer is an Archer-class P2000 patrol and training vessel of the British Royal Navy. She is currently the training vessel of Glasgow and Strathclyde Universities Royal Naval Unit based at HMNB Clyde where she was until 2012 part of the Faslane Patrol Boat Squadron. She has also served in Cyprus
