Herta Regina Leng (1903-1997), Austrian-American physicist. Leng was born in Vienna, Austria. She fled Austria in 1939 and immigrated to the United States in 1940. She worked on the application of physical techniques to solve biological problems, helping develop radioactive tracers produced in a cyclotron for use in medicine.
