The opening of the new movable bicycle and pedestrian bridge between Nyhavn and Christianshavn on the Amager side is delayed .
The opening of the new movable bicycle and pedestrian inner harbour bridge over the port of Copenhagen between Nyhavn and Christianshavn on the Amager side is delayed at least until October 2013 due to contracter's steel problems. (New information August 2013 informs that the opening will not take place in February 2014, but will be further delayed). The bridge is called "The Kissing Bridge" because of the movable construction where the elements are being shot out to meet the opposite part. Photo taken from the Nyhavn side towards Christianshavn.
