The Cape Gannet (Morus capensis) is a large seabird of the gannet family, Sulidae. They nest in large and dense colonies on flat islands or ledges the breeding season begins in August and the birds from pairs that will last for several seasons. Cape Gannets can be easily recognised by their black and white plummage with a golden head.
