Diego de Covarrubias y Leiva (Toledo, 1512-Madrid, 1577). Spanish bishop, jurisconsult and monetarist. He was president of the Council of Castile and bishop of Segovia. He stood out his intervention at the Council of Trent, where he was commissioned to write the decrees "de reformatione". Engraving from "Retratos de los españoles ilustres".
