Strange, irregular patterns on a tree in my home town of Abingdon-on Thames in Oxfordshire. I suspect this is a Eucalyptus; they grow everywhere. There is beauty, pattern and abstraction everywhere, if you remain open to it - and remember to take a camera everywhere! But then I got adventurous and turned it into something more colourful and abstract, using a combination of Photoshop techniques including image folding, rotation, multi-layer blending, transformations and gradient mapping.
