The Ride of the Kings. Folklore festival in Vlcnov, Czech Republic. 11-year-old boy Ondrej Darek Franta, elected to play this year's King, crowned by the royal crown and with a white rose in his mouth, attends his coronation ceremony on the eve of the Ride of the Kings. The Ride of the Kings takes place every year in the small village of Vlcnov in Moravian Slovakia, an ethnic region in South Moravia, Czech Republic. This traditional folklore festival has been inscribed on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List.
