Shirotori Garden Seiu-tei teahouse has been placed designed after the image of a swan or shirotori.

Shirotori Garden is a strolling garden in Nagoya. Its paths run along the banks of various sculpted streams and ponds. The hill at the southwestern corner represents Mount Ontake and the stream that stems from the mound is meant to represent the Kiso River. In the center of the garden Seiu-tei teahouse has been placed designed after the image of a swan or shirotori. Seiu-tei shows to effect the flow of tides, a traditional component of Japanese gardens. Composed in classic Sukiya style, the traditional architecture of the tea ceremony cottage, the teahouse over the water. The exterior form is meant to represent a white swan winging down towards the water. The garden and the teahouse together suggests a sense of harmony.
