Members of the 2d Cavalry Association stand and salute for the national anthem during the 2d Cavalry Regiment War Memorial rededication ceremony at Rose Barracks, Vilseck, Gemany, July 19, 2018. The original memorial, built in honor of the Dragoons who lost their lives in Iraq and Afghanistan during Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom, was damaged during a storm in June 2017. The fundraising efforts of the 2CR Association enabled the regiment to rebuild the memorial.
