Prefabricated apartment building under construction in the Inwood neighborhood of New York
The Broadway Stack, a 28 unit prefabricated apartment building under construction in the Inwood neighborhood of New York is seen on Thursday, July 25, 2013. The seven story building is built of 56 modules assembled off-site and then shipped for stacking. Designed by Gluck+, the method of construction is highly cost effective as the foundation can be built at the same time and the indoor construction of the modules is not subject to the vagaries of the weather.
