This magnificent new white Hybrid Perpetual Rose was raised fA-^^^^^ and sent out by Messrs. Alexander Dickson & Sons, of Belfast, Ireland. It is unquestionably the greatest acquisition made in Roses for the past ten years. Some idea of its beauty and worth can be formed from the fact that wherever it has been exhibited in Great Britain it has carried off the first honors, receiving in one year the Gold Medal of the National Rose Society of New England and six first-class certificates. No other Rose has ever received so many certificates of merit in a single year, and while it has never been tested in America, we have no hesitation in saying it is the best white Hybrid Perpetual for planting in the garden. The color is white with pale flesh center, petals very large, shell-shape, and of immense substance.
