SS Californian steamship on the morning after the Titanic's sinking

The SS Californian was a Leyland Line steamship that is best known for the controversy surrounding her location during the sinking of the RMS Titanic on 15 April 1912. She was later sunk herself, in 1915, by a German submarine in the Eastern Mediterranean.
