Ower,Hampshire Monday 8th August 2016. A road was closed for Ten hours whilst Police investigated a. Crash involving two vehicle. One drivers was pulled form a. Burning vehicle by motorists. Emergency services are currently dealing with a serious collision on the A36, Salisbury Road, near West Wellow. The incident happen just before 8pm this evening. Fire Crews from Hampshire Fire and Rescue,Paramedics, a Hart team from South Central Ambulance Service were called to the scene. Ryan Atfield and a another man are believed to have pulled a man from one of the vehicles that caught fire. Two other people are believed to be involved in the collision who are in their 60's. Road Closures are in place between the Ower services roundabout and Whinwhistle Road. Police are requesting drivers to avoid the area whilst they carry out their investigation. The road is thought to be closed for a number of hours. Police have advised that the road may stay shut until 5am on Monday morning. There are two vehicles involved they are Vauxhall Corsa and a silver saloon. One person has been cut out of the silver vehicle. Two people have been rushed to Southampton General hospital where there condition is though to be serious. Police are appealing for witnesses and have asked that anyone with information is asked to contact them on 101.©UKNIP
