Upon the outbreak ofw^ar he was admitted to the First OfficersTraining Camp at Fort Sheridan, wherehe was assigned to the 2nd receiving a commission as secondlieutenant he requested a transfer to theAir Service and was sent to the Royal Fly-ing Corps School at Toronto, Can., for athree months course. He was then as-signed to Fort Worth, Tex., as an instruct-or. Lieutenant Huguenin was promotedto a first lieutenancy and ordered over-seas, sailing on January 9, 1918, v^ith theI 7th Aero Squadron for England. Uponarrival in England he underw^ent anothercourse of instruction in the SoutharnptonAerodrome, and was then assigned to theRoyal Air Forces a
