A gold-inlaid Persian kard, end of the 18th century. Sturdy, somewhat stained single-edged blade with both sides cut and inlaid with gold floral designs at the forte, on the bolster, and on the grip frame. Walrus ivory grip scales (one side sprung) with patina. A dagger that may easily be improved by cleaning.
