Air Force Lt. Col. Ryan Yingling, Operations Officer with the USAF Thunderbirds, and Detective Benjamin J. MacDonald, an officer assigned to the homicide division of the Fort Wayne Police Department, taxi past two A-10C Thunderbolt II aircraft pilots assigned to the 163rd Fighter Squadron, at the Fort Wayne Air National Guard base in Fort Wayne, Indiana June 3, 2022. MacDonald was given the opportunity to participate in a Hometown Hero Flight, a Thunderbird program that showcases American citizens doing amazing things in their communities.
