Savior & Sons Carriage Works onWhite Oak street. This was the beginning of the Annville 1836 the school was moved to a building on Main street, which in 1858 wasreplaced by the old Academy building. In 1868 this was donated to LebanonValley College. The Academy then existed independently of the College until1904. At that time it was made a distinct part of the college under the name ofLebanon Valley Academy with Professor Spessard as its Principal. From thenon the Academy has steadily grown under his efficient direction. In 1906 ascholarship of one hundred dollars in Lebanon \alley College was first has been taken every year by the pupil who has had the highest grades inthe Senior class.
