HALIFAX, Nova Scotia -- (Aug. 4, 2021) Crewmembers aboard the 270-foot Famous-class cutter USCGC Escanaba (WMEC 907) prepare to launch the Over the Horizon for a training exercise in preparation for Operation Nanook. The Coast Guard is again participating with partners in Operation Nanook, an annual sovereignty operation and maneuver warfare exercise conducted by the Canadian Armed Forces in the Arctic.
