On cartridge case marked "1920 / crown / Erfurt / 1918", with "1920" not being hammered but rolled on. On the left marked "17 - M/anchor - Kar. 98", on the right only "crown/B". No imperial acceptance marks and no proof mark in the shape of the heraldic eagle. Complete, original finish. Walnut stock with divided butt, at the bottom arsenal-type repair, few wear marks.
