The emperor is flanked by his three spiritual and four secular voices. On the left are the Archbishop of Trier, Cologne and Mainz. They each have a document in their hands. On the right are the king of Bohemia, the Palatin on the Rhine, the Duke of Saxony and the Markgraaf of Brandenburg. The first has a scepter and a big golden cup in his hands. The second wears three dishes and a napkin. The third has a sword in his hands and the last one a key. The attributes refer to their arch -offices in the ceremonial imperial household, successively that of Aartsschenker, Arkssenschalk, Archangschalk and Aartskamerheer. In the second and third row, images of young men follow, in full or bust portraits with coats of arms. It concerns different groups: four markgraven, four burggraven and four landgraven, four knighthows and four counties.
