It was, excepting 1896, the warmest Aprilin the last 15 years. The precipitation was exceeded infour out of the last 15 years. The mean temperature was above the normal thruout theState, tho the departures were greatest in the eastern andcentral portions. Maximum temperatures of 90°, or above,were recorded in the eastern and central portions temperatures were recorded only in the extremenorthwestern portion.
