The latter, in manypublic buildings, notably Trinity Church, Boston, and theCounty Buildings, in Pittsburgh, used very effectively theFrench Romanesque style, setting an example that was fol-lowed by many other architects. Meanwhile, the more permanent influence of Richardsonand Hunt consisted in the fact that they were Paris-trainedand directed the travel of students towards the Ecole desBeaux Arts.
