The high speed passenger carrying catamaran approaching Boulogne sur mer ( Boulogne on sea) in northern France. The catamaran makes the crossing to Boulogne in 50 minutes from Dover at least 20 minutes quicker than the fastest ferry crossing to Calais. The vessel was built in Tasmania, Australia and entered the SpeedFerry service in 2004. The SpeedOne has 4 x Ruston RK270 V20 Mk II engines, each one develops 7038 Kw of power.
