Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon, Breiðamerkurjökull glacier and mountains, Iceland.

Icebergs float in the Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon, Iceland. The lagoon is fed by meltwater from the Breiðamerkurjökull glacier, an offshoot of the Vatnajökull ice cap, and is around 250 metres deep. Meltwater and ice accumulate there before flowing into the Atlantic. The image also shows the tongue of the glacier, including a pronounced band of brown-black moraine.
