Resolute Support servicemembers set up a defensive perimeter in Wardak, Afghanistan. The protective detail was there to provide security for Combined Security Transition Command - Afghanistan personnel visiting the Afghan National Police compound in Wardak Province. Freedom’s Sentinel, the follow-on to Enduring Freedom, is the continuing effort to train, advise and assist Afghan security forces as well as conduct counterterrorism operations in Afghanistan.
