Marwan Nasser, a Palestinian fighter was fired at by Israeli soldiers at the Gaza border. Palestinian medics said the fighter was killed at the northern Gaza Strip. It was the second such incident since 10 August, when Israeli troops shot dead four Palestinians fighters who attempted to cross the volatile border in the eastern Gaza Strip.
