A flintlock set comprising a shotgun and a pair of pistols, Giovanni Botti, Brescia, circa 1730, Over the chamber facetted then round shotgun barrel in 15 mm calibre with canon muzzle and iron sight. Flintlock chiselled in relief with monster heads, on the lock plate engraved signature "Gio Botti". Florally carved walnut full stock with gilt bronze furniture decorated in relief, a folding compartment at the underside of the butt. Original (slightly shortened) wooden ramrod with bronze tip.
