Following this he served ayear as interne at the city hospital in Indianapolis, completing his termin 1878, when he was twenty-one years of age, a splendid record for thecountry youth. Dr. Stewart located at Burrows, Indiana, and was for six yearsengaged in practice at that point, whereupon he moved to Rockfield andthere practiced for ten years. In 1894-5 he took a post graduate courseat the New York Polyclinic, and in 1895 he came to Logansport, whichhe has since made his home and the center of his professional of late Dr. Stewart has been engaged in general piactice, but giving.
